Case Study

DriversEdPro

All-in-one driving school platform

DriversEdPro replaces the usual patchwork of tools running a driving school — a spreadsheet for scheduling, a separate payment processor, a learning management system, and a booking app — with a single product. A student enrolls online, pays through QuickBooks Payments (full payment, installments, or per-lesson), and access is automatically gated by payment status. From there they work through interactive course modules, DMV-style practice tests, and live online classes, all without leaving the platform.

The live class experience gives instructors real-time visibility into student engagement: who is on which slide, who answered the last quiz, and who tabbed away. After completing the online portion, students book behind-the-wheel drives directly in the same app, picking their preferred instructor, receiving automated reminders, and tracking progress toward their required hours. Scheduling is conflict-free and fully self-service.

School owners get a single dashboard where enrollment, revenue, outstanding balances, instructor performance, and certifications all roll up together. Once a student completes the required modules and drive hours, the platform certifies them automatically. Built on Next.js, Supabase, and Vercel with Capacitor powering the iOS and Android apps and LiveKit handling live video, DriversEdPro is priced per student so schools pay nothing upfront.
